![]() ![]() The only way to achieve jpgs that look like the preview is to set the ICC profile in the export settings. I noticed that sRGB exported raw files (Nikon NEF) were way more saturated than the preview of the image in P元. ![]() Thus, I propose a filter should be added: Show only DXO developed files. This is not easily possible with the existing functionality. In the case of several hundred files, it would be preferable to only select the JPEF files coming out of the RAW development. This is as if you had selected your camera in the menu Color rendering/camera body. After Raw development, DXO adds another JPEG file with the DXO extensiion in the filename. If any editing were to be allowed when in 2-up and 4-up mode, PhotoLab would grind to a creativity crashing halt. geno (Gerrit) November 25, 2019, 6:19am 1. When you open a RAW image in DxO PhotoLab, Default rendering is set in the color rendering panel. It doesn’t matter whether I’m zoomed into the original image or zoomed out to show the whole image, the JPG is not aligned to the original. That would mean caching full-size jpegs while going into 4-up mode and not allowing any image editing while in this preview view. I don’t remember this always being an issue, but when I select ‘Output>JPG’ as the comparison target, the JPG image does not replace the original as the same size. But you have to copy the settings to the original. Certes, a 2-up and 4-up viewer would be a nice addition to PhotoLab as long as DxO can keep performance under control. To make the VC go to the Image dropdown at the top of the screen in Customize mode, you can find Create virtual copy there or right click on the image itself and you can find it in that dropdown menu. It’s possible to do a quick export of the four candidates to a folder and then review them in either FRV or FastStone. The sample image above shows a hazy original photo detail on the left, with DxO PhotoLab ClearView Plus applied in the middle, and Adobe Lightrooms Dehaze on the right. On Macs, FastRawViewer 2 allows 2-up and 4-up viewing, while FastStone provides this functionality to Windows users. Maybe someone else can come up with a similar workaround. Before/after with a virtual copy compares to the RAW original as well. I thought the before/after would reference the starting state of the virtual copy. My idea was to create a virtual copy and then compare it with before/after. I had an idea for a workaround using Virtual Copies. Learn more about your rights and how we manage your data. I use before/after all the time to see if I’m on the right track or how to improve an image which has gone off-track (what the final image may be missing that’s present in the RAW file).
